changes... went back to pink. focusing on having the photoblog be the main feature again. yes, that's a strike through "photo"... i'm using it for quotes now, too! and, possibley, someday, other things as well.
things are kinda crazy right now. links might not work right, things might be ugly, but i'm working on it. it may take me a while, but it will get done!

went through and took down some things, mostly things i didn't want to deal with anymore. made a few other little changes. nothing too exciting! i think i will make another big change soon, but i don't know what. when you want to do something way different from what you've been doing, sometimes just changing colors and moving things around doesn't quite cut it!

did all kinds of overhauling to the look. i was getting really sick of the picture of me with the camera, so i drew a new one, me as an old-school sideways-face-lady tattoo. there was a lot of purple in it, so i had to also go through and change all the pink to purple, lol...
while at it, i also did some cleaning up, and updated the quotes page!

despite having made changes before now, they were pretty minor, so i didn't update about everylittlething i did.
a change you will notice is that i got a twitter account. i put a link on the main page, and have my tweets post on the about-me page. feel free to follow me on twitter!
something that i'm pretty excited about is the ressurection of the photo gallery. i had stopped using it because it was kind of a pain in the ass, but i've discovered some things about its interface that make it more easy for me to use, and i think i will be using it from here on out, instead of the photoblog. for now. you know how often i change my mind. so fickle, am i!
i know everyone likes when i update my quotes, so i did that :) i'm trying something new, that seems like an obvious thing to do, and i don't know why i didn't do this in the past: date each update. why didn't i think of this before? well, the important thing is that i'm doing it now, and so there will be a time-frame for each chunk of quotes, and they will no longer float in the abstract of space and time.
did a few little stylistic changes... and i think that's it!

cleaned up the content list; it had gotten very cluttered looking. i also wanted to add a little NIN logo... they've/he's been doing a lot of cool things lately, and i downloaded the ghosts i-iv pdf file, which came with some logos... figured uploading one here and making it a link to nin.com was as good a use as any!
and that's all i done did.

did some small changes, like reflecting my recent age-change on my about-me page, but also did a MASSIVE UPDATE on my quotes page. it is awesome. your life will be incomplete until you see it!

did some changing of fairly epic proportions just now. i changed a lot of the functionality of the links page, which now features anchors, so the different sections of the page are easier to get to and you don't have to scroll through all that noise. also, horizontal rules were put in, which i think cleans up the look considerably.
updated the about-me page. i now feel that it actually says something about me, as opposed to the hurriedly thrown-together version that used to be there.
also got updated the contact page. i made a new email address just for this site, it's batwing.org (at) gmail.com. i mainly did this for the sweet spam filter.
i have many quotes to add, but i'll do that later.

no exciting changes made, except some deletions from the quotes page, and the changing of my myspace, livejournal, and facebook to be viewable only by people i list as friends.

well, things are starting to come along as i wanted them to :) got the main page looking pretty spiffy, with a new logo font and layout and such.
today i did some minor cosmetic stuff, and updated the links and quotes pages. wahoo!

thinking the photo gallery format is stupid too. why do i think everyone needs to see my pictures? i'm going to figure out something new with that. like, just to show off my pictures that are good and that i actually like... with no intention of chronicling every moment of my life... because that is ridiculous and stressful to try to do. i've also used up almost all of my hosting space with just pictures!
so, finagling all kinds of stuff. you know, making a new look and all that bs.

hmm... stuff that's going on... updated the quotes not only just now, but also earlier in the month.... in case you missed it.
as for the pictures, i haven't uploaded anything more recently, but i have been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work on that, categorizing and organizing and editing files so that one day soon i can just BOOM upload everything. it will be glorious. the angels will sing.
i have other little bits-and-bobs to do, but they're no big deal.

ok, new lots of stuff. moved into a coppermine gallery. figured out how to tweak everything so that the page still has the functionality of the old layout, what with all the links to content and such, but in a new interface.
not sure how i'll go about it, but my eventual goal is to retire the photoblog. the fact that i have so much trouble updating it shows me that it's not a good idea to keep in the long run. the idea was to have an easy way to share my photos. i think the photo gallery thing will work better, i tried it out a bit and it seemed a lot easier.
so, watch the site and see what happens!
